Summary
1. Introduction & scope
This Privacy Policy describes how Nixorra ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you access or use our websites, web applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). The Service helps you upload datasets (such as CSV or Excel files), generate BI Presentations and charts, and obtain AI-assisted insights and reports from your data.
By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. This policy does not apply to third-party websites or services that we do not control.
2. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. Name, email address, password or authentication credentials (stored securely), organization name if provided, and billing-related contact details when you register or manage your account.
- Uploaded datasets and related content. Files and data you upload to the Service (for example, spreadsheets), metadata associated with those files, and configurations you create (such as BI Presentation layouts or saved views).
- Usage and technical data. Log data, device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, actions taken in the product, timestamps, and diagnostic information to operate and improve the Service.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Cookies, local storage, or similar technologies that support authentication, preferences, security, and analytics as described in the Cookies section below.
- Communications. Information you send when you contact support or otherwise communicate with us, including the content of your messages.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including authentication and account management.
- Process uploaded data to generate BI Presentations, charts, AI reports, and other AI-assisted insights you request.
- Improve reliability, performance, and security; detect fraud and abuse; and enforce our terms.
- Analyze aggregated or de-identified usage patterns to understand how features are used and to develop new functionality.
- Communicate with you about the Service, updates, billing, and support responses.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
4. AI processing & generated outputs
Nixorra uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to interpret structure and content in your uploaded datasets and to produce suggested visualizations, summaries, and insights. Depending on how the Service is configured, your data may be processed by our systems and, where applicable, by subprocessors or model providers we engage to deliver those features.
We do not sell your personal information or your uploaded datasets. Unless we tell you otherwise in a separate agreement or product notice, we do not use your confidential uploaded data to train third-party foundation models for their general public models. We may use aggregated, de-identified, or technical telemetry to improve our own systems and models in a way that does not identify you or your end users.
AI-generated outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. You remain responsible for how you use outputs, especially when they relate to regulated, sensitive, or high-stakes decisions.
5. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the Service you have requested.
- Consent — where we ask for consent for optional cookies, marketing communications, or specific processing activities.
- Legitimate interests — for example, securing the Service, improving product quality, and communicating service-related messages, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with law.
7. Data security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. These may include encryption in transit, access controls, logging, and secure development practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage you to use strong passwords and protect your account credentials.
8. Data retention & deletion
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Uploaded datasets and generated artifacts may be deleted when you remove them from your account or when your account is closed, subject to backup and legal retention periods. You may request deletion of your account data as described in Your rights below, where applicable law applies.
9. International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms) for transfers of personal data across borders. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.
10. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information we hold about you; to restrict or object to certain processing; to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
12. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Where changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required by law (for example, by email or in-product notification).
